Hello, my name is Tobias, welcome to my little site.
I live in Germany, a little south of Stuttgart.
I am a father of four, husband, electrical engineer and soccer coach, roughly in that order.
In the very little time left after the above is covered, I try to play some guitar, take some pictures and do a little programming on the side.
In my profession as an embedded programmer in the automobile sector, I almost exclusivly program in C.
For the occasional scripting I have allways used python, and that was also my main programming language for my private projects.
In 2020 I got my hands on a magazin that covered some newer programming languages and, as an embedded programmer, I immediatly felt drawn to Rust.
I have tried to learn it and implement stuff with this beautiful language ever since.
On this site, I mostly write about my Rust projects (which move at a glacial pace) but also drop random thoughts about things that interest me.
